Octonauts Land at SEA LIFE Birmingham

Heroes of the seas, Octonaut crew members Kwazii and Peso, arrived in Birmingham on Thursday (March 21st ) in dramatic style.

The larger-than-life characters from CBeebies hit series Octonauts arrived by barge at SEA LIFE in Brindleyplace.

Children from the County Bridge Primary School, Walsall

were on the canal bank to greet them, eager to meet their underwater heroes.

"We're hosting Kwazii and Peso at the Sea Life centre for three weeks from March 23rd to April 14th," explained Sea Life's Jamie Turner.

"Children love the Octonauts, and since the series is all about exploring and protecting the undersea world and rescuing stricken sea creatures they could hardly be more fitting guests."

Birmingham is the first stop on a nationwide tour by the Octonauts and it seemed only proper that they should make their entrance on the water.

The children from the school cheered them into dock and gave them an enthusiastic welcome ashore.

Kwazii and Peso had a few gifts to present the children with, including free tickets to experience the Octonaut activities at Sea Life first-hand with their families.
