Rain, rain, go away, come again another day!

With the inevitable return of the rain this summer, ensure your family day out isn't a washout with Drayton Manor Theme Park's Rainy Day Guarantee.

For the remainder of the summer holidays, the park, near Tamworth, Staffordshire, is allowing you to return for free on another date, between 2nd and 30th September, if it rains continuously for 2 hours or more on the day of your visit*.

What's more, there's some fantastic savings when you book in advance this summer holiday, with adult entry costing only £20 and child tickets (aged 4-11) only £15. Children aged 2-3 are just £5 and children under 2 are free, ensuring a fun and affordable day out for the whole family.

Not only has the award-winning theme park reduced its online prices during the peak summer holiday period, it is also giving a voucher booklet, valued at over £100, to anyone making use of the online summer deals.

The booklets include a wide variety of fantastic offers, such as a free upgrade to a large meal; any three photo passes for just £15; as well as 10% off a meal in the Grill Inn restaurant for diners between 7pm and 9pm.

A new ride, Winston's Whistle Stop Tour, has launched to celebrate Thomas Land's™ fifth anniversary, but not forgetting the other 20 rides and attractions in Thomas Land to entertain Thomas & Friends enthusiasts. But if it is big thrills you want, then Drayton Manor has plenty, from Apocalypse, voted the UK's scariest ride by Channel 5's The Gadget Show, to G-Force and skin-soaking Stormforce 10. However, if you're looking for something more sedate, the 15-acre zoo is home to over 100 animal species.

Colin Bryan, group CEO and managing director at the park, said: "The British summer has long been tainted with flash floods and heavy downpours, resulting in soggy summer holidays and damp days out.

"We understand the value and importance of family days out, which is why this initiative can guarantee a fun day for the whole family even if the weather has other plans!"

*The rainy day return tickets will only be considered if the it rains heavily and continuously for a period of over two hours between 10:30am (Ride opening time) and 5.00pm (Ride closing time). Rainfall after 5pm will not be considered. In order to claim the return visit guests will need to call our call centre on 08442 4721960 giving their original reservation details so that a new reservation may be given for their return visit. Guests are asked to check our website prior to phoning to ensure that their visit date has been deemed a rainy day. Visitors will then be able to return later in the season for free.
