See Howletts in a different light

Howletts Wild Animal Park, near Canterbury will be opening its gates to visitors wishing to take part in twilight treks around the park, every Wednesday throughout June.

The exciting walks will allow visitors to see the park as dusk falls, watch some of the animals as they prepare for nightfall and spot native wildlife including bats as they come out to explore and feed after the park closes.

Education Supervisor, Mark Kingston Jones said: "These twilight treks around Howletts are the perfect opportunity to explore after normal opening hours and will give visitors an insight into what happens here once everyone has gone home. We think this will be really popular and it's great to be able to offer an alternative evening activity with a wild twist."

Twilight treks will start at 7.15pm and finish at 8.30pm. Priced at £8.00 for Passport holders and £12.00 for non. Passport holders visitors wishing to take part are advised that places must be pre-booked.

The treks will take place on Wednesday, 12th, 19th and 24th of June.

To pre-book please call 01303 264 647 or visit www.aspinallfoundation.org/howletts for more information.
