You'll Never Guess Where The Most Romantic Place in Birmingham is This Valentine's Day!!!

From the smallest fish to the furriest mammals, love, affection; whatever you’d like to call it, it’s in the air at the National Sea Life Centre Birmingham this Valentine’s Day. In a show of otter-ly gorgeous affection, otters Mango and Starsky, who’ve been a couple for just over a year, are very much in love with hugs at the top of the list on Valentine’s Day.

The National Sea Life Centre Birmingham is no stranger to the love scene as it was the proud venue of a whopping 100 marriage proposals in 2016, cementing its status as one of the most romantic places in Birmingham.

Hopeful romantics looking to declare their affections are often found proposing against the breath-taking backdrop of the National Sea Life Centre’s Ice Adventure.  Emotions are running high amongst the Antarctic creatures too, with a new addition - suitably named Romeo - taking a shine to a lady from the existing Gentoo Penguin colony. Pictured here, preening himself in his quest for love this Valentine’s Day!

Amy Langham, General Manager at the National Sea Life Centre Birmingham said; “What a pleasure it is to be one of the most romantic places in Birmingham! We have had a record amount of marriage proposals in the past year, so for those thinking about popping the question, why not come and see what all the fuss is about?!”
