Bugbrooke, Northamptonshire, is a large village and civil parish which is on a ridge overlooking the valley of the River Nene. It is Located 7 miles south West of Northampton and has a population of 2,773 (2001). Bugbrookes, named as Buchebroc in the Doomsday Book of 1086, is situated on the Hoarestone Brook - flowing through the village from south to North.
