About Eastney Beam Engine House
Home to two restored Boulton Watt beam engines and pumps, the Eastney Beam Engine House was originally built to pump sewage and waste to stop the water from being polluted and was an important fixture in improving the health of the surrounding population. Today the engines and pumps can still be seen and the engine house is now an industrail museum showing the importance of these amazing machines.
