About White Rock Gardens
White Rock Gardens were first acquired by the Council in 1902 and re-landscaped in 1920. The central garden offers its guests brilliant facilities, from bowling greens to a skateboard facility, as well as a fantastic array of wildlife. Bird enthusiasts can come to this site to watch visible bird migration, where many different species - from swallows and house martins to woodpigeons and meadom pipits - can be seen flying ahead.
