Have A Hauntingly Good Half Term At Beaulieu- 25th October - 2nd November 2014

Looking foward to the Halloween half term holiday, but can't think of what to do with the kids? Why not have a family day out at one of Britain's most haunted places? 

At Beaulieu's 13th Century Abbey, you can go hear Spooky Stories from a costumed monk. You can also hear Spooky Stories from the guides of Palace House, home of the Montagu family since 1538. While here, kids can dip in the Witches Cauldron and have a Gruesome Face Painting. 

Perhaps a Halloween Trail in the National Motor Museum is more to your preference? Follow the trail and see some of the 250 vehicles from every motoring era that the museum has to offer, including two new displays for 2014 - For Britain & For The Hell Of It, which features the museums iconic British Land Speed Record cars, accompanied byan audio visual representation, telling the story of this achievement. And the Motorcycle Story, which will tell you motorcycling history from as early as the 1950s and 1960s, with early examples of Mods & Rockers youth culture. 

Have a ride through Wheels, which rides through a hundred years of motoring history. Or take a trip on the high level Beaulieu Moan-O-Rail, which passes through the roof of the museum. 

See Harry Potter's flying Ford Anglia, used in the filming of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and Del Boy's Trotter Van in the same place in the 'On Screen Cars' section. 

Finally, enter the Top Gear Enormodrome, to see actual cars from the presenters' most ambitious challenges, hear the stories behind them and enjoy some of the best Top Gear Moments in Beaulieu's World of Top Gear. 

All children who dress up in Halloween fancy dress and get into the spirit of the holiday will recieve half price admission (unfortunately, this offer is excluded on 1st November after 3pm).
