The British Wildlife Centre, near Lingfield, is pleased to announce the arrival of two fluffy bundles of joy; adorable otter cubs born to parents Emmy and Elwood. The cubs were born back in October and since then they have been kept safe in the holt by mum Emmy, an experienced parent who know what's best for them.

For the second year running, The British Wildlife Centre’s (BWC) near Lingfield is proud to announce that it has received a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence award. When selecting winners of this aware, TripAdvisor considers the quality and quantity of reviews submitted over a 12 month period, with the award going to establishments that have continually delivered a superior customer experience.

The British Wildlife Centre’s (BWC) Native & Natural Photography Competition results have been announced, with the winners and runners-up selected from over 600 entries. No easy task! Visitors’ photographs of the wonderful wildlife at the Centre, were showcased during the competition. Congratulations goes to Zena Saunders, winner of the Habitat Category, who was also chosen as the competition’s overall winner. Her magical shot, called ‘At Home with a Muntjac’, was a shot of the one of the Centre’s muntjac deer in a woodland setting.

At the British Wildlife Centre, near Lingfield, this year’s cute youngsters are now on view and charming all the visitors. The spring brought plenty of red squirrels kittens, with healthy litters produced in the Centre’s walk-through red squirrel enclosure. For such a beautiful and increasingly rare native species, this is excellent news.

The British Wildlife Centre (BWC) near Lingfield in Surrey has enjoyed another baby boom for one of Britain's most vulnerable species, the iconic and much-loved red squirrel. Such is the success of its breeding programme the BWC is able to supply red squirrels to other centres, helping to establish more colonies around the UK.

The British Wildlife Centre near Lingfield is celebrating a bumper breeding season for the rare Scottish wildcat, thanks to two new males acquired by the Centre earlier this year. Macavity and McTavish have each sired litters of gorgeous wildcat kittens, which are now on display and charming visitors to the Centre.
