About Biddenden Vineyards
Biddenden Vineyards is Kent's original commercial vineyard, owned and still managed by the Barne's family, where they pride themselves on being a family run vineyard. The vineyard was originally home to a 40 acre apple orchard and now spans over 23 acres of gentle south facing slopes, growing 11 different grape varieties which produce award-winning wine, all surrounded by the picturesque wealden village of Biddenden. Open to the public throughout the year, guests are invited to take a stroll through the vineyard, where they can take one of two self guided routes, at their own leisurely pace. Alternatively, Biddenden offers a wide variety of other tours to its guests, from Free Tours (Saturdays all year round and Wednesdays June till September) which give the perfect introduction to Private Guided Tours, giving a more in-depth experience.
