Selling out faster than any other previous year, the last remaining tickets for the Santa Specials, at Spa Valley Railway, are expected to disappear – fast! Dates available for the exclusive Christmas event are as follows; 2nd, 3rd, 16th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd December 2017. Trains depart as follows; 10:15, 12:15, 14:15 and 16:15 from Eridge Station.

Enjoy a picturesque ride on the rails at Spa Valley Railway this winter, accompanied by Cream Tea. The journey will take you through the beautiful countryside of Kent between Tunbridge Wells and Eridge on selected dates throughout December and early January.

Despite the recent and major damage to one of the railway bridges on the Spa Valley Railway, the ‘Thomas the Tank Engine’ event is still a go for this coming weekend. The damage to the line did not stop the planned event on September 30th and October 1st and will not affect the event this coming weekend, October 7th and 8th.

Tickets are now on sale for the popular Santa Specials at the Spa Valley Railway in Royal Tunbridge Wells. 

West Kent’s biggest gathering of road steam can be seen at the Spa Valley Railway on 1 and 2 July 2017.  Entry is from 9am. 

Visitors to The Spa Valley Railway over the August Bank Holiday can join the railway in celebrating 20 years of the line reopening between Tunbridge Wells and Groombridge.

Recently announced is the visit of a Deltic locomotive, 55019 ‘Royal Highland Fusilier’ to the Tunbridge Wells based line this year courtesy of the Deltic Preservation Society!

Just announced is the visit of Hunslet locomotive ‘Ring Haw’ to the Tunbridge Wells based line this year. Built in 1932 ‘Ring Haw’ comes to the Spa Valley on loan from 22nd May to the end of October 2017 boosting the railways operational steam fleet to three locomotives. Usually based at the North Norfolk Railway this is the locomotives first visit to the South East of England.

For an affordable a funn day out this Half Term, kids can travel on this popular heritage railway for just £1 in February at the Spa Valley Railway in Tunbridge Wells!
