One of the UK’s leading interactive science centres, At-Bristol Science Centre, has created the world’s first live tweeting honeybees (@citybeehive and @countrybeehive) in a joint initiative with BeeBristol and scientists from the University of Bristol aiming to engage people with the lives of the bees through innovative use of technology and social media.

Visitors will be able to get wild, whatever the weather outside, with gravity-defying herbs in the Greenhouse, dissecting daffodils in Live Lab, and the brand new Summer Stargazing show in the Planetarium. There is something for everyone in At-Bristol Science Centre this May half term (28 May – 5 June)!

At-Bristol Science Centre's doors will be opening, on Friday 12 February, for an event with a twist for ‘After Hours: SEX’!

Millenium Square car park is due to re-open on Monday 25 January, following a period of extensive repair work and cleaning after a car fire broke out in the car park in September 2015. All parking rates and charges have remained the same since the closure of the car park in September.

On Saturday, the At-Bristol Ice Rink officialy welcomed in the festive season to the Harbourside, as the Christmas lights were turned on, and the first day of the Harbourside Christmas Market got underway. 

The Harbourside science centre, At-Bristol, will again host a real-ice ice rink on Millennium Square this winter; tickets are on sale now and the build begins today! Regular sessions will include evening ‘Disco Boots’ and special weekend ‘Little Boots’ sessions for under 8s, and the ice rink will also be joined by weekend market stalls on Millennium Square from the Harbourside Christmas Market from the end of November. 

Millennium Square car park will unfortunately be closed as it undergoes repair work following a car fire in the car park, this October half-term, running 22 October – 1 November. However, to help visitors to reach the harbourside science centre over the holiday period, At-Bristol will be providing a free shuttle bus service.

At-Bristol, the Harbourside science centre, will host an ice rink on Millennium Square for the very first time this winter.

At-Bristol science centre has partnered with leading engineering company Rolls-Royce for a brand new Live Lab challenge 'Fly-by-Wire', starting from Tuesday 16 July and running throughout the summer holidays.
