Blackpool’s Grand Theatre is offering an exclusive opportunity to 20 children (between the ages of 8 and 15). The Russian State Ballet of Siberia will be teaching an exclusive ballet class on 12th January at 3pm.

Commencing this week, UK charity week takes place in the first full week of December – designed to get everyone involved in donating to charity, at a time when it is the season of giving. Blackpool’s Grand Theatre’s hugely successful #PlayYourPart awareness campaign has been a massive success within the community.

After the massive success of Blackpool’s Grand Theatre’s interactive gBook, the theatre has decided to launch a brand new, video platform too. Following the huge demand in downloading the video service, with 45,000 downloads, the popular visitor resource is has spurred the creation of a new addition to visitor interactivity. The new video service? gPlayer.

November 15th marks the UK wide, online celebration of Theatre, at selected venues, across England and more. Yes, for Love Theatre Day, selected shows will have 2-4-1 tickets available for purchase, across this year and next.

Back for a major UK tour this year, retuning to stages near you, is the hit children’s show The Tiger Who Came to Tea. Directed by David Wood, and adapted from Judith Kerr’s popular children’s book, The Tiger Who Came to Tea is the perfect introduction for young theatre goers, to experience a unique and distinctive play.

The hit West End show is set to tour the UK and Europe in 2018. Thriller Live recently sold its 2 millionth West End ticket making the show seen by over 4 million people in over 30 countries and played over 5,100 performances worldwide. The show is returning to the UK, in venues all across the country, including the Grand Theatre Blackpool.

 Whilst it’s nowhere near Christmas time yet, the excitement for the panto season is in the air. With the upcoming performance of Cinderella at the Blackpool Grand Theatre this December, you’ll be wishing for the cold weather!

Terrence Rattigan’s … Flare Path LIVE at the Grand Theatre Blackpool Tuesday 23 to Saturday 27 February. Terence Rattigan’s FLARE PATH, directed by Justin Audibert, has now announced the final casting for their 2016 national tour opening on 27 January at the Connaught Theatre in Worthing. Daniel Fraser will play Teddy Graham and Audrey Palmer will play Mrs Oakes. Daniel played Gregory Cromwell in the acclaimed RSC productions of Wolf Hall and Bring Up the Bodies in Stratford, London and on Broadway.  He also appeared in Chariots of Fire at Hampstead Theatre and in the West End and starred in the Sci-Fi films Frequencies and Lab Rats and the thriller Scar Tissue.
